Pilates Instructor

With a lifelong passion for exercise and movement, Monica brings infectious energy and encouragement to every Pilates class she leads. A former runner who discovered Pilates during rehabilitation after knee surgery, her journey began in 1998 in the basement where the San Francisco Ballet practiced—a transformative experience that left her hooked for life.

While balancing a full-time career in corporate sales, she rediscovered her love of Pilates after her first class at Pike and Plank, reigniting her dedication to both her personal practice and helping others on their fitness journeys. Currently pursuing her certification with Balanced Body, she is committed to deepening her expertise and sharing the many benefits of Pilates with her clients.

Known for her high-energy, light-hearted, and supportive teaching style, Monica loves nothing more than watching her clients discover their own strength and confidence. Outside the studio, she is equally passionate about her own Pilates practice and cherishes time spent with her family.
